The product is Outdoor Products Well Spring 2-Liter Hydration Pack.
I bought this due to the price for a 2 liter pack, now dont get me wrong. It is pretty great and since day one has not given me any issues, I even recommended it to my buddy and he loves it. The only thing I would complain about, there are only 2 pockets, 1 closed via zipper and the other is open top. they are on top of each other which makes it worse, since the zippered pocket has something in it, the open one behind it wont take much. the zippered one doesn’t take much to begin with. I have a HTC Tilt and that alone fills up the small zippered pocket.
So, it’s 2 liters which is great, and if you don’t have a big phone or anything other then keys with you then this is perfect. I will be buying a small saddle bag for under the seat, so the small zippered pocket wont bother me anymore.
durable, has not failed me yet, no issues with anything working the way it suppose to!!
Purchased this pack for my 11 year old son to use during Boy Scout events. It works great! He loves it. It is light weight and easy for him to use. No issues at all, I would highly recommend this product.
Great product especially for the price! Great zip pocket and pouch. Love the clip to hold the mouthpiece.
Needed a smaller hydration pack for my son to take on an Encampment, this pack did the trick just fine and worked well for him. However, we let a friend borrow it to take to her camp about 2 months ago, she chewed the mouthpiece as if it were a piece of gum or something.
Saw the damage when she returned it, figured no big deal, just get another mouthpiece at Walmart… HA. No such luck. A person has to buy whole new bladder for $10 bucks just to get a new mouthpiece. Suddenly not such a great purchase any more. Not sure if better to blame Walmart for not offering mouthpieces or Outdoor Products for not having them available, but just putting it out there.
I got this pack for my 7 year old daughter for when we go on small hikes, and to be honest, to have her wear it around the house so that she will drink more water during the day.
All in all, an excellent pack at a great price. The only thing I find negative as compared to another pack I got my other daughter, is that the shoulder straps are not padded at all, they are like a mesh webbing, with folded nylong edges for stength. This means she has to wear a t-shirt if she wants to wear the pack, unlike my other daughter’s pack where she can wear it with a bathing suit top when we are camping. Not a huge deal, and I see other packs don’t have the padding either, and I would buy again for the price, but am going to have my wife or mother sew some padding onto the straps to make it comfortable.
