Great idea, even a great design – but obviously poorly manufactured. The battery connections are miserable and the darned thing just doesn’t work most of the time. Pretty useless if it’s not dependable and you spend have the time messing with the battery cover. Didn’t save the pkg, so I can’t send it back… but I have put Neiko on my no buy list.
I was very excited about the idea of “28″ LED lights…but apparently at least 5 were not working when I first used it…now I think there are 8 already that are not working…But it still works
…
Product was not as described- sent it back. It is tiny and does not produce much light.
Very bright light and so far, just as I expected. The large head limits where or how you would carry it. Not for pocket use. I keep it on my nightstand for emergency use. It stands upright on the flashlight head and very steady.
It’s a great flashlight when it works. Small, nice metal body, the switch is easy to use and works well, easy to carry in your pants pocket. The light is bright. But when I first installed batteries, I noticed the battery holder was very thin and flimsy plastic. The flashlight worked very well for a few weeks. Then one day it started flickering off and on, in a very annoying way. Bang the side and it would come back on for a millisecond, then off again. Sometimes it will work normally for a while, then back to the flickering. It seems to be in permanent flickering mode now. I tried wrapping the battery holder with a paper towel, that helped for a while, but now it’s flickering again. It’s maddening because the manufacturers could have made a much better battery holder for what…10 cents more? Then this would have been a really nice light.
