YES, SIZING 1 TOO LARGE! XXL IS XXXL OR LARGER!
All reviews say too big except one guy, who probably is larger than he thinks. Dont buy, or buy one size smaller. I bought a XXL and fits like XXXL or like a tent to me.
After many laundry cycles, this polo is still wearable. The size is definitely a little off, and it shrinks since its 100% cotton. Just by one size larger than what you normally wear and you’ll be fine.
I ordered a couple of these shirts in XXL (I normally take an XXL Tall). I was concerned about the reviews on “weird” sizing of these shirts, and this almost prevented me ordering.
In my case, the XXL sizing seemed perfectly normal. I am sure an XL would been too small for me, so please do not take the advice to order a size smaller.
My only confusion was the material. I expected the weave to be slightly different. I expected a heavier textured fabric, since these shirts have a fairly “flat” tight weave. I think the IZOD Pique Polo is more what I was expecting, but this was my misunderstanding and not a shortcoming of this particular shirt. The fabric and assembly quality seem to be high.
In any case, I like the shirts and expect to get years of service from them.
NOTE: “Lily Pad” is an especially nice color, and can be worn as a neutral (it is not too green).
Excellent quality, my only issue with it was the size, i ordered an XXL and it was more like an XXXL, so order a size smaller.
I got a Medium and its huge (much bigger than 38-40 mentioned in sizing charts). I wouldn’t recommend this item.
