After trying various battery-powered trimmers that were ineffective and/or broke after a short time, I found this trimmer. It is solidly built and works great. This will be the last trimmer I buy.
I purchased this trimmer based on the glowing reviews here on Amazon. Good news and bad news.
Good: works as well or better than either of the two battery powered powered trimmers I’ve tried. Looks good, is small enough to fit easily in a portable toilet kit and doesn’t need batteries.
Bad: doesn’t trim nose hair that well, and when it does it pulls (ouch) as much as cuts. Using it carefully I’d say it gets 50-75% of what I’d like cut.
Conclusion: if you want your nose hair really trimmed get a blunt nosed scissors to trim with. If you are dead set on using a trimmer this may be your best option, but keep your expectations low.
IT does a great job on shorter hairs, but not so good with slightly longer ones, you’ll still need to manually hit some areas.
This trimmer is definitely something you don’t need to fear to try at home. You don’t need to be a professional, just have a little common sense and at least one thumb and finger on each hand. Disclaimer. If you only have two brain cells, one for inhale and one for exhale you may want to leave this product alone.
After using a couple of battery powered trimmers and watching them quickly wear out over their short life expectancy, I looked for a simple easy to use and quality USA made product for a replacement. I had been interested in a Tweezerman device that was basically designed like a tweezer, but it was like a paper punch you inserted into your nasal opening and then ‘punched out’ the hairs.
