This Gerber makes for a nice pocket knife. As the Jr would imply its smaller, about the length of a pen unfolded and the blade is a bit longer than the short side of a credit card, but the blade is very sharp. It’s a sleet design, the thumb studs and a small finger assist in the back make it very easy to open one handed, the hinge moves well out of the box and with a drop of oil is a breeze. The locking mechanism keeps the blade very stable and for a right-y like me is easy to push down and close the knife one handed as well. The matte black blade and heavy plastic handle make it rather cool looking too. Over all, very nice design and usability for a small pocket knife.
The shipping was also very speedy I had it with a few days of ordering and that included a Sunday, so overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Good all around pocket knife. Seems to hold edge well, in the few weeks I have had it. I cut all kinds of stuff…wire, boxes, plastic, fruit, etc… Always handy with the nice little belt clip. One handed opening is a breeze and also very handy. Well thought out knife. I’ve bought many knives and this has to one of the best under $20 that I ever ran across.
This is the best knife that I’ve ever had.
I’m not a heavy knife user and I just use knife for daily use such as open packages. I had several knives before including a swiss army knife and a good-looking gerber 7167. However, nothing beats this knife at its price range. At first it was a little awkward for me to open the knife, but when I got used to it it’s very easy and comfortable to open with one hand.

Very sharp; works great on opening packages. Small and sturdy; it is a perfect pocket blade. Great for everyday use!
I can’t count the usefulness of this knife. It goes everywhere with me. You won’t be disappointed.
