  1. Mickey J. Allen says:

Fruit of the Loom makes two kinds of briefs– regular and Big Men’s. I ordered regular, but I received Big Men’s. They are gigantic! Be careful when ordering.

  2. Bahama Mama says:

Bought this for my 81 year old father at his request. He has been wearing this brand and style for many many years and will not consider anything else. In the past he would buy them at JCPenny’s when he travelled to the USA but now has me order them online for him. We are both happy with the purchase.

  3. P. Stevenson says:

We bought these briefs because we wanted a “regular” cut breif. All the ones today seem to be low-rise, which my husband finds uncomfortable. While the cut is fine, the quality is very poor, The fabric is a coarse cotton the feels really rough, and the assembly of the briefs is shoddy. Several pairs have mis-matched ealstic at the back. One even makes my husband feel that it is “cutting” him in the back. We were disappointed because we remember Fruit of the Loom quality from years ago. Well, it isn’t that great any more.

  4. JP says:

These briefs have been good for a long time. Waste band has decreased in quality over the years although it is still fair.

Amazon pricing for them is deceptive at best. Notice the “eligible for for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25″ or “eligible for free shipping with Amazon Prime”? If you check Amazons price vs. the other 3 retailers you will see that Amazon has just added the approximate shipping price to the MSRP to arrive at the $10.00. So their sales hype regarding free this or that is just that, hype.

If you are an Amazon Prime member the value of your membership has just been diminished or in this case reduced to zero (you can get the briefs at one of the other retailers shipped for $9.75). This is not an uncommon practice now at Amazon.com, that is, adding shipping to the MSRP and pitching free shipping. One might think twice about signing up for Amazon Prime. I buy enough DVD movies to make my membership a value although that value is being reduced with this deceptive practice.

I like ‘em. I’ve used them for years. I think they shrink a little after washing, but not much if I recall correctly. I wish they were union made / made in USA, too bad.
