Bought it for my wife and she loves it. Good weight for a beginner to start with. Best price I could find, and got good reviews. Wife says DVD is great at explaining the correct grips, positioning, and moves. Bell handle is curved enough so that knuckles don’t scrape top of it as they do with some. Product delivery was just a little slow but acceptable. Would buy this brand and from this vendor again.

This is an excellent workout! Targets your core but also works the entire body. Easy to follow video and you get fast results.

  3. Todnprincess says:

The DVD is excellent — the trainer focuses on technique and gives you a full workout with only 5 lbs. The Kettlebell is more fun than a medicine ball or weights and really works your core.

I have had no problem with my kettlebells. I use them for rows too(they have a nice flat on the bottom for this). I was concerned about the plastic handle, but it has held up fine. I definitely realized why it was cheaper when I purchased it, but I am totally satisfied that my less $$$ has got me a perfectly useful product. The workout was defintely at a beginners pace, which I surpassed quickly, but was good to get a full workout without signing up for a class.

You get what you pay for. I was shopping for a budget 5 lb kettlebell (KB). This seemed like a bargain considering it came with a DVD. The KB was made of plastic filled with sand (you can hear it move inside!) vs the standard ones of steel or iron. Hence the $19.95 price tag. The DVD was so boring…yawn. And if she was so buffed/toned all-over via her exercises, she should show off her 6-pack abs. So it you want to get real with a KB workout, best to do your homework and research on which DVDs are top-rated or duds….I obviously didn’t do mine as I ended up with a plastic KB :-( (
