Ordered a 36 for my husband who wears 36 waist pants, and all his other belts are 36, but this belt was literally 36 inches long, so wasn’t long enough. Either it was mismarked, or just runs small. Better give yourself some extra ‘breathing’ room.
This belt is not the quality of the one it replaced. I had the old one for several years before it finally broke. I do not this one will last that long if I wear it any at all. The quality is just not there anymore.
I’ve owned three of these over the last two years, not due to their quality mind you, but due to their availability. Within three months of purchasing them the first two belts unraveled where I buckled them. After they unraveled, the cheap fiber belt inside would rip at the holes, rending the belt useless. I bought the third one a week before Thanksgiving this year and by Christmas week it had started to unravel. On Christmas Eve I twisted and bent down to pick something up and the belt completely ripped away from the buckle at the seams. Do yourself a favor and purchase a thick solid leather belt that’s meant for manly men, not this fru-fru excuse for a belt.
I have been wearing Dockers belts for 10+ years. They are my number one and only selection- day after day.
Dockers has always had good quality, for a price. This is true here. The belt is very nice, is classy and casual at the same time, and fits to length. Only downside with Dockers in the price, so -1 star for that.
With all due respect to the reviewer below, belts are wear items, like tires on your car. I liked this belt so much I just ordered another one. (2010-01-07) I have worn the one purchased for the original review at least 3-4 times a week since I purchased it, with jeans, with slacks, at the beach, on vacation and to work. It does show some wear around the place I buckle it, but it is still solid and definitely did not unravel. So, I am buying a new one for normal wear, and will relegate this one to weekend wear. BTW, it is now $8 less expensive than when I bought it the first time, so I think it is even a better value.
